Corrections Policy
We correct errors openly. Corrections are recorded on the article itself rather than made silently.
How corrections work
Factual errors are corrected as soon as they are verified, with a dated correction notice at the foot of the article.
Substantive changes after publication carry an update notice explaining what changed and when.
Requests for correction can be made through the submissions page; please cite the article, the passage and your evidence.
